Everybody who loved games like Diablo and Diablo 2 will almost for sure love this one too. And that's because the whole system is very similar to them.

Gunz: The Duel

For over a millennium, the Land of MU has been developing and prospering. But according to Secromicon, the Great Prophecy, it was destined to fall into chaos. It began with the wars between its many feudal Lords, but it remained like that until one of them, Antonidas, a foolish Lord blinded by ambition and deceived by the words of an evil sorceress, decided to bring up an Ancient Devil named Kundun, the Devil of Darkness. Suddenly, all the Lords were killed and Kundun turned the Land of MU into his home, turning it to be an evil reign. The last remaining hope for this land lays now in the power of the seal of Etramu, the same seal which maintained Kundun's imprisoned before. But this seal was broken into 8 pieces which were scattered along the land. Only when the seal is restored in one piece again will peace return to this land. And that is a task for the many adventurers who cross these lands.

Well, after this small introduction to the state of events, let's just say that everybody who loved games like Diablo and Diablo 2 will almost for sure love this one too. And that's because the whole system is very similar to them. At the beginning of the game it is possible to create a character from one of three different classes: Dark Knight, more focused on physical combat; Dark Wizzard, specialized in offensive magic which allows him to kill from a distance; Fairy Elf - who is a female character - more suitable to use ranged weapons and defence magic; it is also possible to create one character of each class. Also the game will start in the town of Lorencia for players who choose the Dark Knight or the Dark Wizzard and in Noria for the Fairy Elf. As point of reference, let's say that each town is located around the middle of its scenario map and it is possible to travel between them - that, however, requires certain levels of experience - and it probably requires a full exploration of the map in order to find the right path and achieve enough experience. In the lands around Noria and Lorencia lies the easiest monsters, but that's how it is supposed to be, as in the beginning, characters are quite weak to deal with stronger foes. There are many maps to explore, many monsters to kill and also many ways of being killed. One word of advice would be "avoid any monster you can't kill with 3 or 4 hits". And what would be a RPG - even if it is a MMO - without spells and skills, lots of items, weapons and armours, and events and quests? Well, let’s just say this game has plenty of all of them. Apart from events and quests, which can be accessed by everybody, things don't work the same way with spells and items; this means, each character class has its own spells and skills, and its own weapons, armours and items - only a very small number of "inferior" items can be used by all characters. One other nice feature is the ability for the characters to be "promoted" to a stronger and better equipped one. The best thing of all this is the ability to play it with thousands of other players - it is possible to form or join "guilds" or team up with other players before embarking in quests and events.

Now for some technical specifications: this is an online game so, it requires an active internet connection to be played; it is all played by mouse although there it is possible to use some shortcut keys from the keyboard; graphics are awesome, and so is music, which fits really nice to set the right mood; the game also runs very smooth - well at least in modern computers.

Well, I believe that covered pretty much the basics about this awesome game, and instead of keeping people reading a large text, I prefer to encourage them all to try this nice great game - If you like RPG's, you wont regret it. I have no doubts about give it a five hare score, it surely deserves it!
